Philips 49PUS7100 - Bug 13 - TV-Guide becomes kill-switch

I have just had a long quiet period with my TV and I was getting accustomed to the features that I should avoid in order to watch TV.

But then this past friday something new came up. I was done watching a TV-program, and wanted to see what was on next. So my obvious thought was to press the dedicated TV-Guide button to bring up the TV-Guide.

This has worked previously, but today the behavior was different. This day, the TV became unresponsive and just kept playing the TV-channel for a couple of minutes before going completely black.

I tried to turn on the TV but unsuccessfully. I got no response, so I unplug the power to shut it down, and plugged it in again. It turned on and it started showing a channel, but it was not responsive. After another couple of minutes I unplugged it again and kept it without power for a couple of minutes before plugging it in.

Then when I plugged it in this time, then the TV started from scratch showing the usual Android logo. It started up and started displaying a channel, but when I tried to open the menu on the TV it just went black and became unresponsive.

At this point I got pretty frustrated, so I turned off the TV and kept it turned of over night after which it got back to working again.

2 days later, and the same scenario repeated itself... This TV is really broken...
